About Lindsey
"Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don't do it just for yourself. You will want to leave the world a little better for your having lived."
-Ruth Bader Ginsburg-
I am a wife, working mother, community volunteer, and life-long Northern Illinoisan. I have had a variety of jobs and experiences in my life, but have always felt led and called to help others.
I am a natural leader and "do-er". When there is a problem that needs solving, I am ready to offer her help to reach a successful resolution. In the aftermath of the Chemtool explosion in 2021, and the overturning of Roe v. Wade in the Supreme Court, I was left wondering how I could help in my community. I saw the opportunity to serve on the County Board, and took it head on.
I understand, as a mother, the decisions being made today have a lasting impact on my children, and generations after. I am looking to work side by side with all others in county leadership to bring lasting, positive impacts to NW Winnebago County.
I am a vocal advocate for environmental protections, labor rights, reproductive rights, racial equity and criminal justice reform.
